Andy Fluor™ 488 Goat Anti-Mouse IgG (H+L) Antibody is prepared by labeling high quality goat anti-mouse IgG (H+L) with Andy Fluor™ 488. Andy Fluor™ 488 is a superior alternative to the traditional green fluorescent dye FITC (or fluorescein) owing to its exceptional brightness and photostability. Andy Fluor™ 488 can be used as a replacement for Alexa Fluor® 488.
Our EasyProbes™ secondary antibody reagent is formulated in a ready-to-use solution that is provided in a convenient-to-use dropper bottle. Just tip and drip two drops to stain your cells.
Suggestions for use
• In most cases 2 drops/ml and an incubation of 30 minutes will give bright staining; however, optimization may be needed for some cell types, conditions, and applications. In such cases simply add more, or fewer drops until the optimal staining intensity is obtained.
• Andy Fluor™ 488 dye is excited with a maximum at 495 nm, with an emission maximum at 520 nm. It is detected through standard GFP and FITC filters.
