- Superior transfection efficiency
- Compatible with a broad range of cell types
- Low cytotoxicity
Figure 1. HeLa cells stably expressing the GFP were transfected with either a negative control siRNA (Left), or an anti-GFP siRNA (right) with PolyFectRNA™ Transfection Reagent. The gene silencing efficiencies were assessed by GFP signal. The GFP signal was not inhibited (<2%) when transfected with a negative control siRNA. When transfected with an anti-GFP siRNA, the GFP signal was significantly inhibited (>90%).
Figure 2. A549 cells stably expressing the GL3 luciferase were transfected with either a negative control siRNA, or a GL3Luc siRNA at 10 or 25 nM with PolyFectRNA™ Transfection Reagent. The luciferase activity, determined 48 hours post-transfection, was inhibited up to 92% when the transfection was performed with 10 to 25 nM siRNA. As a negative control, the luciferase activity was not inhibited in the same conditiond with NC siRNA.
